Title: How to regenerate the human lung?
Abstract:
This presentation is focused on novel concepts and approaches for lung regeneration and will provide critical translational information about our knowledge of lung structural changes over the lifespan, how chronic lung disease develop and novel targets and tools to initiate lung regeneration. The presentation will highlight recent findings on progenitor cell function and regulation by developmental pathways, and human tissue based models for translational studies will be introduced.
